What do I do/give/say to my 82 year old grandmother who is and will be surrounded by the hospital to treat a broken foot/ankle/knee cap? She is have surgery on Mon. What should I give her and articulate to her? Any advice would be appreciated!

Answers:    Bring her magazine, crossword puzzles, nice smelling lotions and soaps, comfortable socks, and maybe a elevated thread count pillow cover- Put all of these things surrounded by a nice basket and you own a great gift that she will appreciate. I am sure the conversation will move about on as she takes adjectives the goodies out of her basket.
