Do i enjoy to hold piercings out for an mri scan?!?

I've got an mri scan on fund this weekend, but i have 5 body piercings.
I can't hold them out cos they are mostly recently pierced. But i've hear they can rip out because of the magnetic force.

Any answers from family with ear/nose/belly piercings, who've have mri's would be apprieciated...

Answers:    Body jewelry is not attracted to a magnet. Hold a refrigerator magnet to the jewelry, and you will see that it does not move. If the jewelry is not a part of your body explicitly being imaged, it can stay contained by. For example, for a brain MRI, I would ask you to remove any jewelry on your face (eyebrow, monroe, lip etc), tongue or ears. If I be doing your lower back, I would inevitability a belly ring taken out, but I wouldn't have your remove any facial piercings.

"Appropriate body jewelry is non-magnetic, and as such does not obligation to be removed for MRI procedures* unless it is located in the region one examined."

I also have multiple piercings, and I am surrounded by the magnetic pen daily (remember the magnet of a MRI is other on), and I have never have any issues with my jewelry. They incontestably have never come close to self ripped out of my body!
it wont rip them out you will have to whip them out because it will interfere with the MRI pictures and will enjoy to have it redo and if you do not your MRI will be useless. I have have several MRI's for my back.
