When I get mine done this summer, they sold me a medical spray to put for a while after. Now i just put it on every few days. They also said not to verbs it with soap or anything, only just water. I can update you that my percing still hurts on the odd time and its be 4 months. If you have actual puss coming out, after its definitely infected. It sounds infected by the style you described it. If I were you, i'd step to the place where you've get it done and show it to them and ask them what to do about it. It will go off a scar, wherether it is infected or not.
