Adderall XR - NEED INFORMATION PLEASE!?
I'd like responses from parents who enjoy children on Adderall XR, or from kids who are on it. Especially if you've been on it for a long time.
What are the side effects? Long-term effects?
Any adverse effects?
What are your state of mind about taking it?
Does it engender you sick, or make you discern funny?
Anything you can tell me going on for Adderall XR would be appreciated, I have no hypothesis about it and I'm greatly reluctant to put her on anything at all.

Answers: wow...i would like to thank you within advance for asking this give somebody the third degree...shows that you seriously care in the order of you kid...so...here goes
I'm a 17 year aged highschool kid who has freshly recently be put on adderall for ADHD/ADD....their basically duplicate now....and i be just as concerned as you are...in the past i started using it i did a lot of research and found out that be going to be a lot better for me than my current home made study formula be...(with research i found out nicotine is a stimulant and helps beside concentration...so i was using smokless tobacco for a while)...newly to say that adderall is a controlled substance and is a stimulant.....actully....its roughly legal speed....so i be definitly a little tenetive to use it at first....
but it ends up that it be the best thing ive ever done....i can inform the bigest difference ever...its like darkness and day...i never know how much i really couldnt concentrate...ha...but yeah....its helped me more than i could hold wished for....but here are the ways that i've notice it affecting me:
It has cause me to lose only 5 pounds....cause a loss of appitite....but i make myself munch through....makes me rather anxious...not much tho...just more noticable than not using it....and the first 2 night i had insominia.....roughly 2 hours of sleep each hours of darkness....but now i sleep much better...my mody basically had to draw from used to it
Just realize that adderall is a controlled substance....EXTREAMLY illegal to get rid of or share...and is often times disliked for its side-effects...but surrounded by my case the upright effects out weigh the bad stuff...by a long shot

My son takes it. It made him for a moment out of it the first couple of days (getting used to a medication). The only side effect he have was he wasn't as hungry as usual. I consent to him skip it on the weekends when he can just burn rotten the energy outside. He does better surrounded by school and we can definately inform when the weekend rolls around...he bounces off the walls from morning til dark LOL
