Are you asking about a dissertation which is for a PhD or a study which is for an MA? While there is some similarity a dissertation really is something explicitly going to have to hold YOUR interest for much longer.
That said - you might look at inpatient mental condition treatment - perhaps innovative modern approaches. You might consider a specific population/diagnosis. The transition from inpatient to outpatient. The relationship between ecological paradigm and the medical model.
