Foot Issue, PLEASE HELP!?
My aunt went to a pedicurist between Feb-Apr 07, and is have an issue with her toddler toe. We went swimming, and when she come out the pool, I noticed the skin on her toddler toe is completely white. I asked what happened. She informed me fund when she visited this pedicurist, she begin to use a razor blade to trim a corn she have, and claimed it didn't hurt, and saw each time she go, the corn was diminishing. Ever since she stopped going, every time hose down is in contact beside this toe, whether shower, bath, pool, the skin turns an unsightly white, next goes away going on for 10 minutes after the water is spellbound probably. My aunt is now particularly insecure, and has told not a soul about this, and think she is just confined to covered foot now. It looks approaching a bubble of deadskin, but thickened, and covers her entire babe-in-arms toe.I was appalled to hear of a cut-throat blade being used! Any thinking of what happened? I don't want to terrify her, I simply transitioned another subject, I could tell it be uncomfortable.
Answers: It sounds resembling a heap of motionless skin - like the uncaring is still there. It could be something else, but yes, some pedicurists use a tool that have a razor blade (like a mini grater) to cut stale dead skin. At lowest in California, they're not supposed to do it, but some places still do. She should muster up the courage to enjoy a doctor look at it. If it is infected, it could get into her bones and that would be deeply very really very extremely bad (losing the toe or worse) impossible bad.
