My son for the last 2 1/2 months have been experincing vastly bad stomach pains, the 1st Dr. put him on pepcid AC for one month (did not work), the unsullied Dr. has put him on nexium (taking for 5 days). The aching is right in the middle of his stomach below rib shut within, now the spasm is also on the left side of his stomach below ribs, and end night he be in twinge and his face be very drawn, then this morning he have bad pains and diarreha incredibly runny stool. Does anyone know what this could be, the doc. said he does not know what is going on, to try the nexium for now and see if it help, I am very concerned?

Answers:    You necessitate to bring him to a gastrointestinal specialist... it's obviously more than only acid indigestion or heartburn.

Oh, and the acerbic blockers are one of the worst things to put someone on, and even worse for kids. The way they work is by preventing acerbic from being produced.... and if there's not adequate acid surrounded by the stomach, they won't digest their food or any tougher things that go through their stomach (like tablets or some candies). I'd be exceptionally cautious something like putting him on an acid blocker for any long residence, especially since your experience has shown that's not the problem.

Crohn's disease sounds close to .......it took the docs about 7 months to digit out wot it was but wot you enjoy said those r the symptoms of ibd -------- inflammatory bowl disease = crohns.
