I am going to goto my doctor and ask for a tonsillectomy, as I have be getting a sore throat and bleeding tonsils with white stones surrounded by them about once a month for over a year. I am wondering how much time will I call for off from work to ask for since I continue my labor intense errand (lifting heavy things and running around alot beside lots of talking) im 22 if that matters. I am wondering if two weeks will be long ample (i am worried about paying my bills, as I live check to check). Also any theory of the cost of the procedure with medical insurance (Atena?), I reckon they only cover 1/3 of costs?

Answers:    Only your insurance provider can share you how much you will be responsible for. You can arrange for payments of what you owe with the hospital. they are other happy to work next to you.

You will need at smallest two weeks off. Ask the ENT doc for sure... may be more (but not by much). Why hurry? If it's not emergent, skulk for a bit - save up some money to comfort while you are off work, or use break time. Maybe sick time if you have it.

Greatest risk for post-op bleed is in half a shake after the procedure (within the day) and then again at 10 to 12 days out. That's when the "scab falls past its sell-by date." The procedure is more risky for adults that it is for children. But- don;t be scared. Still a adjectives procedure.

And, don't count on it. You doc may not agree that they need to be removed. They are not yank out anymore like they used to be. If an ENT doc have not been following you for the year, or your standard doc hasn't thought that you need to see an ENT specialst, consequently you may be jumping the gun. Get a full exam at the ENT doc past deciding if it is something that you stipulation (assuming the doc will do it).

Im getting my tonsills out in 4 days

It take 2 weeks at the most for someone to heal from a tonsillectomy

if you be in motion back to your employment job any ahead of time your throat will bleed.

I get tonsillitus every 2-3 weeks so i have no option but to return with them out. It is more painful for adults more than children though.

Type surrounded by tonsillectomy in the search out thing on runeed.com and it tell you sooo much.

I learnt so much something like others experiences from it.

Yeah two week should be fine!
Im 18 and i know it would be easier for me because im younger,but i was bored after the first week of sitting surrounded by the house so after two weeks i was put a bet on to playing Gaelic football!!
The worst is days 4,5, and 6 after that its gettin your strength back!which should be in the region of a week and a half and after that ur opulent!
