I'm getting braces tomorrow (both upper and lower) but my braces are different, they actually enjoy no bands and my dentist told me it works plentifully faster (and unfortunately more expensive) and the torment is more bearable compared to those with band . I'm just wondering if anyone have (or had) this type of braces (and what is it really called? o_O) and if it hurts abundantly and how long will it hurt. I'm really nervous for tomorrow.

Answers:    While you're within the orthodontist chair, it really doesn't hurt.
The most mortified part is they hold to open your mouth unadulterated wide and they use these plastic thingies to do so. Later that evening your mouth will be sore but it would be any sort of sharp distress or anything...

you mean invisalign?.. I bet it won't hurt nearly as much as metal sense being, most of the niggle of first getting braces is how the metal cuts up the inside of your mouth (until you get used to them). near is also some pain from the tightness but it's nought unbearable. If you are getting metal braces, capably I'll be honest I had a rough first week or two. It's not the direct affliction from the braces but not being competent to eat my favorite foods that be really hurting me. haha don't sweat it. braces is a good piece.
