I went to UCH London because of ahealth condition.The receptionist refuse to put my new GPs pet name on the computer on the basis he be not down as being at my tentative surgery.I showed her my apointment slip with his nickname on it,Ichose another doctor who has be there a long time she refuse him.she told me the names of european doctors which I refuse.I think the choice should be mine.can some one explain why they do this.

Answers:    That receptionist should not hold sent anything to a doctor you are no longer registered with. If you enunciate my new doctors details are x, y or Z later they should record them within the records and convey any reports to your treating doctor and not one that you are no longer a patient of. Not solitary that you should not have to secure copies of that report to send to your unknown doctor. The old GP will own to forward all your archives including any new reports to your treating doctor. You can put within a complaint about this.
