A guy at my university overdosed today at 1st time of year and be taken to the hospital?
Ok.. All i know for sure is that he took fourteen 1,000 milligram Vicodin. From a close friend of his, she said she think he snorted a line of cocaine and ate shrooms also.. but i don't know roughly those..
but anyway he was taken to the hospital within an ambulance to probably go drink charcoal and capture what else is left that hadn't soaked through to his system and do doesn`t matter what else they need to do.. but thats roughly 14,000 milligrams of vicodin in him.
Will he be ok?
and for the guy that give him the drugs.. is that attempted murder or something?
What kind of criminal charges are going next to this?

Answers: No, it's not something to joke roughly. I feel so sorry for young-looking people today. A lot of them are not given the chance to be kids anymore, at least possible not like we be when we were growing up. Too much put on them at once. They opt for drugs to relieve the stiffness and peer pressure. He might have acted similar to a bully (that's the impression I'm getting from your description) but inside he be obviously hurting. I hope and pray that he does seize the help he wishes IF he survives. I am an RN and I have never hear of 1,000 mg Vicodin. It is usually Vicodin, Lortab or Lorcet and it comes in 5 mg, 7.5 mg and 10 mg next to acetaminophen in the tablets as ably. More than 8 regular strength Tylenol (acetaminophen) in a 24 hours term can cause liver mess up. The Vicodin is something they can probably give something to reverse its affects.
In admiration to the legal implication from giving/selling the drugs to the young man, I am not sure of, but I'm sure in that surely can be some and some serious ones at that.
You know, something that might make you consistency better and him as well...if he does okay, perchance you should go and drop by him. I'm telling you, as rugged as it might be to do, you will feel similar to a different person when you step out of that hospital. You might JUST BE HIS TICKET he requests to become a better person. Obviously you're concerned or you would not be writing this at this time of the hours of darkness. I admire you. Go see the childish man and tell him you will be in attendance for him if he ever needs to chat, etc. It's not being sissy or bowing down to him...it's man human and understanding. There could possibly be some criminal charges brought against whoever give him the stuff, depending on the outcome. As far as will he be okay, well that depends on what he took and how much. The hospital will do adjectives the lab work and check. He sounds like he requirements some help any way if he is doing that much drugs. Vicodin can really mess your liver up.
