The Cleft Palate syndrome?

If someone needed the cleft palate at birth, should that person be concerned in the order of any consiquences?

Answers: most of the cleft babies I've see at 12 to 13 years old look approaching you and I, and are as healthy as any one I know...except for dentures at an precipitate age, and a small scar i.e. clearing up..they sometimes look really really great...

Why would anyone need a cleft palate?
