WHy do individuals win their tonsils and appendix taken out?

Why? and does it hurt?


Answers:    Usually because of chronic infections. Both are operations that involve adjectives into a body part. Operations are traumatic to the body and require a time to treat and to recover. Usually in that is some discomfort as the body heals. Not too various people hold their tonsils or appendices removed prophylactically.
my tonsils were removed at age 17 ( which is really elderly in the evaluation of doctors........better at age 5-6) but i kept getting these raging throat infections, tonsils would swell making breathing difficult and they had some sort of white, infectious sticky stuff clinging on them.......... yes it hurt.......... it hurt worse ( for a while ) after.. lost bulk, blood clot broke loose, choking me, had to be cauterized.......... simply alwful... but worth it to me
