Is it desperate to cross your legs?

i have sit with my legs crossed probably starting when i be around seven now i am fourty. i cross them every time i sit down, eventually after a long priod of crossing my top leg get numb. i have hear that crossing your legs can cause capillary problems, back problems, and hip problems, i dont enjoy any at all, but is this true that it is doomed to failure? do you cross your legs also? and are you aware it might be bad?


Answers:    I own no other sources except my doctor told me years ago that one should not cross their legs. It is bad for adjectives the reasons you mentioned. I still do it even though I try not to - it's a tough habit to break.
To cross the legs at the ankles, is better, or to sit near legs straight in front , and the knees together, near back erect. is much better. What you describe will cut the circulation if one is surrounded by that position for any length of time. Since Hip replacement it is stressed not to let the leg cross your middle. and I enjoy learned to abide by that rule, as all right as not sitting on furniture that is too low. The sitting position become a habit, that can effortlessly be changed, by becoming aware of ones posture.
