So i went to the DR. because i have been have chest pains and problems breathing. After some blood tests she said i be anemic because my iron level be extremely low. It is 3 when it should be above 40. So she told me to take 359 mg of ferrous sulfate every morning.. I was wondering if anyone else have had an iron stratum that low and how long does it take to correct?

Iron by IV might be a worthy option for someone who is severely low. It should work greatly faster than taking iron pills. If your doctor doesn't want to do something severe to fix you, maybe you have need of another doctor.
