Answers:    Ok - just get my copy back out and skimmed it at full tilt to remember. Here are my thoughts on Johnny's physical characteristics:

Small build (I believe in the book they said skinny)
Black pelt
Dark eyes
Scars on his face
Looks babyish
Generally has a panicky, beaten down look

threatening, black, greasy hair
gental
caring
unsure of himself
bruised
has scar
ummm..... again, beaten
