Answers: Melanin is a natural pigment that give your skin its natural color. It's produced within cells call melanocytes either contained by the top layer of the skin( epidermis) or the outer second level of the skin( dermis). thus melanin is then transported to the surface cell of the skin. usually, melanin is distributed evenly thruout the body.
But sometimes, melanocytes grown together in clusters giving rise to moles.or Nevi. When skin is exposed to sun, melanocytes produce more pigment cause the skin to tan or darken.
Scientists don't know why moles develop or for what purpose they serve if any. Although, they do appear to be determined at birth. Most moles are safe and don't require special care . But sometimes, general public have unsually looking moles, call dysplastic nevi which are more likely to turn cancerous than frequent moles.
Atypical moles most often materialize in the back of both women and men. And also on the abdomen,chest and legs of women.
Although most moles develop by age 20, they can verbs to appear until midlife. There are also certain times contained by your life when moles are more apt to transfer; for example, they're likely to become dark, larger and more numerous because of hormonal changes during youth and pregnancy and with the use of birth control pills.
