Take her to a different doctor. Your current doctor is an idiot. It sounds like the flu (which CAN slaughter a 5 year old). Muscle pains, fever, diarhea, and cough are adjectives signs of either the flu or something else. Either means of access, no child is sick for 3 weeks (even off and on) short a real point.

Seriously, get a second assessment.
