Why doesn't anyone put on the market sundried acai berries?
Answers: One problem with dried acai berries is they lose most (but not all) of their nutritive utility in the drying process.
The other issue is if truth be told drying the berries. Acai berries are not like blue berries. They are a palm fruit that have the fruit surrounding a large nut. In command to get the nutritious berry portion from the nut, it is scraped rotten mechanically. This pulp is later bottled or frozen.
Drying an acai berry would result in a purplish nut, and not an toothsome product like a raisin.
Try Whole Foods or Trader Joes or even a local Farmers Market
