Why did ancestors pick pit bulls as war dogs?
Answers: Pit Bulls are not BRED to be fighting dogs but they can enjoy an aggressive nature. I know because I have one that never bit anyone in his go and he (all 90 lbs of him) sat surrounded by my lap. Pit Bulls own a tremendous amount of body strength and their jaws are excessively strong. It is instinctive for a Pit Bull to be protective of their owner, but it depends on how the dog is trained. If you train a Pit Bull to fight, yes, it will barney another animal until one of them is dead. Personally, I never could construe why any human being would train any animal to do this. The pounds per square inch inch surrounded by a Pit Bulls jaw will allow him to dangle on to a tire or another animal until it eventually gives out. This dog's chin is THAT strong. It is much stronger than a German Shepard, Rottweiler, or any other large, aggressive breed of dog. If you treat a Pit Bull close to any other domestic pet, keep it sheltered in a pen, keep hold of it in the house (as long as it is housebroken and doesn't use the bathroom inside the house) or stride it on a leash, a Pit Bull can be a very righteous pet. They can be very loving, devoted dogs. Roosters, birds, fish or any other animal can be made to conflict if they are an aggressive breed. It is almost always the OWNER of the dog or animal make the breed bad. I despise citizens that do inhumane things with animals...such as adjectives them, leaving them out within the sun with no shade or wet, abusing them, or learning them that fighting is their just means of survival. I decision that people that did these kind of things to animals had to suffer one and the same punishment. Then, maybe we'd own less Michael Vick's surrounded by this world. As if this world doesn't have satisfactory serious problems without c r a p resembling this!! It is horrible abuse and IT IS WRONG!! It is not a moment ago WRONG, it is S I C K !!
They are low-built, powerfull, HUGE jaws, and lock on and never let budge
