How long does it bring to suffocate?

I'm just curious. Also my friends are have this big debate about wether it take a few days to die of an overdose or if it happens closer to the time when you took the pills. I thought it took a few days but I might be wrong.

Answers: I dream up it takes overnight to die from an overdose and a moment ago a few minutes (eight minutes at most, I believe) to suffocate.
