White patch on throat?
I've had a sore throat past its sell-by date and on since Sunday evening (it's Tuesday now) and I noticed consequently that I had a small white patch on the right side of my throat. I go to the doctor yesterday, and they tested for strep and it came up refusal, and said my other symptoms (headache, earache, etc) were merely sinuses and allergies. But today I noticed that the white patch have grown. Any ideas on what it could be and how I could kind it go away?
Answers: If it is not strept it could be a simple tonsil infection and antibiotics will be needed. if it is sturdy and can be removed than it is not an infection and could be a result of rotten tonsils. Which means your tonsils own multiple pockets that can harbor food and whatnot. Nothing to really worry in the order of, have your doctor pilfer another look if it continues to persist.
