Sometimes one of my eyes will get somewhat blurry, so I use one of my fingers to wipe my eye, and I end up getting a slimy whitish/grayish substance on my finger. Does that come up to anyone else?

Answers:    It's normal. What you shouldn't be doing, however, is using your finger (or anything else for that matter) to wipe your eyes. It should step away by itself, and leaving it be is much safer than wipe your eye. Wiping too hard and you could accidentally gash your cornea, and you might have any number of microbes on your hands you don't want to be getting into your eyes. Please consider stopping, or at lowest washing your hand before you do so.
