I pledged celibacy, but...?
- I found myself thinking too much about sex
- An ex of mine be tested positive of syphilis and I thought I was the source (turned out I probably wasn't)
- I found myself masturbating like mad whenever I woke up thinking about the closing time I had sex
However basically now I found myself missing the sensation of being intimate near a warm body... What can I do? I really want to stay celibate until I am completely out of college (5 or 6 years, I am getting my PhD)
Answers: Honestly put, your pledge is only as angelic as your willingness to follow through next to it. 5 or 6 years is a LONG time to be celibate.
You could always start pursuing serious relationships next to marriage surrounded by mind. With luck your celibacy could be over in a couple years, within a committed, loving relationship. Someone who really loves you would be willing to lurk, and would respect the cuddle-need without pushing your boundaries.
or you could get hold of a cat or dog to snuggle :P
