Why do the earlobes grow longer as we age?

Answers:    The cartilage grows slowly and the skin loses elasticity as we age. The loose skin makes the ears and snout appear larger and droopy. One more pleasant thing to look forward to!!
It is because unlike our bones earlobes & the snout are made of elastic cartilage and through our lives this type of cartilage keep on growing slow but sure.
