I am takeing clindamycin hcl 150 mg and be wondering if i can drink alcohol while I am on this medication?
Answers: alcohol is not a good model when on antibiotics or other specific medications
it interferes near the absorption and value of the med and can cause the infection to any heal much more slowly or sometimes renders the med ineffective
clindamycin is used for stubborn infections not the run of the mill ones
rule of thumb
alcohol and meds do not mix
the infection will restore to health faster without alcohol
can't you hang around the week to 10 days then drink ?
I am 90% sure you can, I am pre-med and also be just on clynamycin, you should be fine.
