My roommate not here the stove's gas on lacking a flame for 1hr+. How can I alarm her into never doing it again?

I was sitting contained by my own room with the door shut, and later I smell the propane. I walk out my room, and the smell is so strong I know someone is going on. I turn into the kitchen, and find one of my roommates LEFT THE GAS ON without a FLAME for at LEAST 1 hr.

(I call the fire department, took all required precautions, and everything is clear now)

I am aware of the DANGERS and DEATH that can result from a mistake like this - but I scarcity the knowledge and facts around it.

Can you support me make a chronicle of reasons of how disappearing the stove on can cause loss, etc. Do you know how long it takes for propane to annihilate, how many it kill a year, combustion rates?

I'll take anything (ANYTHING) correct to scare this girl straight.

Thank you!
- a amazingly dizzy Kelsea

Answers:    Why not search the pattern for past stories on gas explosions. I remember reading report clips about individuals falling asleep and having their apt or home blow up because of this. I own also read about folks being awakened by their carbon monoxide detector, and they get out safely
blow up the house
