I was wondering if anyone else get an elevated heart rate after drinking alcohol??!! I never used to get this, however I have a period of stress and anxiety ending year and because my heart rate was already elevated, alcohol exacerbated it unsuccessfully. This was almost a year ago presently and I no longer experience anxiety - however everytime I try to have a drink, my heart rate go up to like 90-100bpm. Has anyone else experienced this? Its really annoying, it'd be nice basically to have close to a light beer very soon and again :(

Answers:    i think your kinda doing it to yourself, as surrounded by, you remember when it scared you past,( your fast heart rate) so you may be worried it will hapen again.
i other say listen to your body, if your body tell you booze isnt good, after it probably isnt good for you.. listen to your body, it wont do you wrong

im not sure abt this. but i know of someone who drank too much & have heart attack & died while sleeping. I agree with s p above me here. you should other do what your body wants. I grasp dizzy every time I drink caffeine , so as result I no longer drink coffee or soda.
Now I wont faint and you wont hold a heart attack!

I have never feel it myself. But drinking alcohol should actually increase your heart play the drums as well as blood pressure.
