Anyone hold info on a service dog from Paws With A Cause? I've be waiting for several months but still own
Answers: My uncle got one - a retired seeing eye dog. He be a wonderful dog - well trained, enormously much a pleaser. Only negative point is he was for a time older and have arthritis. Being an older dog - not as much enthusiasm left for bonding, etc.
I would regard it can take up to 2 years, as it does next to other companies as well.
I trained my own dog. Far faster accessibility, the dog learn quicker (because it has to) and the are more reliable and loyal because they grow up next to their handler.
Good luck and I really hope you get your dog. That sounds close to such a long wait to me! :)
