Hey!! Well I've had tonsilitis the recent past few weeks. I was antibiotics twice and it would of late come back. Well, I go off antibiotics on Monday and my throat started awareness a lil scratchy yesterday and started getting painful. My tonsils aren't as swollen as they be the past couple of times but are swollen enought that it's chance to talk and you can of late see that they're swollen. What are some quick ways to carry rid of this? And fast?! I own this big thing tomorrow darkness and I also get to see my boyfriend that I haven't see in a few weeks. I know I passed tonsilitis onto him later time I had it and don't want him getting sick again but I don't see him that much and really don't want to dissolve my plans tomorrow. So I want this to be relieved as much as possible by then. Please help out me!! Got any easy remedies? Or any kind of medicines that work obedient and fast? Or anything? Please facilitate me!! Thanks so much!!

Answers:    I do not know of any permanent cures, i focus the best thing you can do is hang around.

It will take time, but eventually the swelling will step down and the pain will subside.

But until next, as a temporary cure, i suggest that you drink lots of cold foods, such as Ice-cream and Ice poles.

These soothe the throat, giving them a feeling of numbness which temporarily take away the pain.

Alternatively, you could try some medicine for sore throats.
Strepsils work well.

Advil and rime will help, but they really won't discern better for a few days probably.

Sorry :( It will get better. Had mine removed at 16 because they would grasp like that approaching every other month.
