when someone goes deaf, i would assume they'd use sign terminology? but does that mean they lose their speech as capably?

Answers:    NO! It is only when a entity was born deaf that they own a hard time making the sounds to speak, and explicitly cause they own not heard it so they cannot duplicate it fully, a soul who looses their hearing will still know how to pronounce words and speak.
