Why do nurses wear a white hat?

Answers:    Modern nurses no longer wear the white cap or a white dress when they work. Most school don't even have their old pupils wear a white cap during a pinning or graduation ceremony.

In olden times, the cap be used to keep a nurses tresses out of her face, but presently we use rubber bands.
They haven't for decades.
