Does using Crystal meth incentive shortness of breath even once you've stopped using it?

I smoked crystal meth for about a year and a partly but have stopped, for roughly speaking 8 months now. While on it I would recurrently have shortness of breath and I'm still have that now. I get the impression like I can't filch in a gaping breath and I was wondering if this have happend to anyone else

Answers:    It takes years to reverse the effects of smoking anything for a prolonged extent. Stay on your path to recouping and try some deep breathing exercises to increase lung size, you will be OK.
Congrats on kicking the "bad chicken" to the curb!
For a year and a partially, you were breathing toxic fumes into your lungs on a regular argument... so it's obvious that you did some defile to your lungs, and your body as a whole.

I would suggest that you check your heart rate, as stimulants wreak havoc on the heart... and this could be cause the shortness of breath.

Visit a doctor and be honest about your drug history. Make sure you're wholesome!
