If you want to be massive - next the extra weight may result in more stress and strain on the joints.
I hold known culture who take steroids (DON'T!) and lost fleece, lost sex appetite, and skin became splotchy.
I enjoy preferred to focus on more aerobic (less mass building) - keeping the heart rate up works great for me - I'm 44 years old and pull high reps near weights about 60% of my max. And I plan to do this for the rest of my life span!
