Is in that a specific dual disorder explicitly characterized by trauma?

My friend Jillian has a strange behavior towards winter. She hates the snow and she hate all things Christmas-ey. Just just this minute, I found out from her grandma that she was molested by her stepfather when she be seven. It was on Christmas Day. While everybody else is busy exchanging gifts and singing carol, poor little Jillian was harrassed by her stepfather. I judge she is traumatized by the event that she now have this animosity towards Christmas and snow. She spends every Christmas Day locked up in her room and drowning herself surrounded by vodka. I really want to help her overcome doesn`t matter what it is she's feeling. Is she experiencing a dual disorder?

Answers:    I regard your friend Jillian is experiencing a dual disorder called Post-traumatic Stress Disorder or PSTD. It's when a entity feels approaching she's being haunted by her departed. She probably has a frozen time sleeping because of frequently occurring nightmares about her ancient. I think the common sense why she hates Christmas or winter is because it reminds her of that traumatic experience that of late won't go away. It make her feel overly scared out of your wits and at the same time, angry because it happen. There are specialists who help PSTD patients traffic with the stress and lose the drinking by performing several therapy. I wish your friend ably. I hope that one day, she'll eventually swot to love Christmas again.
Your friend needs to see a analyst. She is suffering from PTSD, post traumatic stress disorder. It is very adjectives to feel intense sensations over something like Christmas, especially if that be when your friend was harmed.
Self-medicating next to alcohol only make it worse. Alcohol is a depressant, so all it does it make a depressed person more depressed.
Take it from someone who know. As far as a specific dual disorder, I would not know offhand. Once she starts sharing near a trained professional, he or she can help her overcome that.
What a friend you are to her!
Good luck.
