i have just now been put on a long course of trimethroprim (100mg at night) and i am unsure in the region of the effects of alcohol as it is not mentioned contained by the enclosed circular. i dont usually drink but i am having a body tomorrow and i am going to be on them over xmas and new year and would similar to to have a couple of drinks.

Answers:    Absolutely not.... Always check near your Dr or you can ask the pharmacist. Mixing alcohol and anti-biotics is a no no.
