My great grandma have a terribly doomed to failure cold. What can I do to aid?
Shes extremely stubborn and hates doctors (My grandma sourt of forces her to jump. Not MEAN forcing her, but she makes the appointments and brings her.)
I know that getting in poor health at her age is not too good. Is at hand anything that I can do for her that might help her obtain well faster? (Shes 100% irish and holds the steriotypical irish opinion of yourself. Shes very strict, stubborn, and set within her ways!! Shes not likley to try new things.)
Answers: My grandfather be the same method. He was more worried just about everyone else. He was surrounded by his 80's and would tell me he be driving the old culture in his complex to the stores etc.- how the heck infirm were those those! Of course, you are correct in maxim her being under the weather is more serious then it is for a younger personality. Chicken soup really does have medicinal properties, specifically if it is home made not Campbell's etc. Be sure she drinks plenty of fluids and does not keep her house to heat, that encourages germs to grow and spread. If this cold persist for more then three or so days the likelihood of it turning to pneumonia are great. Do you best after three days to get her to a doctor. Good luck and God Bless !
Chicken Soup, aspirin, and red juice (any liquid that's high surrounded by vitamin C). Its always nice when you're elder and alone to have someone stay when you are sick.
