Bleach within Drug Tests?
Answers: Bleach: chlorinated bleach is one of the most commonly used additives to alter urine samples. Generally the user add 6-10 drops of liquid bleach to a 60ml indication. If powdered bleach is used, 1/4 teaspoon is used for a 60 ml sample. This can failure the immunoglobulin/antigen binding to cause a false negative when EMIT type drug tests are used.
When using EMIT type drug test, it is important to check the urine pH since bleach will repeatedly throw the pH outside the normal body array for urine (this helps detect tamper with the sample).
None, it'll read as a tamper sample.
Additiional: It'll STILL read as a tamper sample.
i'm pretty sure they'd know in that was bleach within there, they aren't stupid.
