If a medical transcript is your information why does a facility spawn it difficult and charge to see it?

I recently spent 15 days within a hospital.....have no memory of the first 4 or so...be in ICI....call for permission from adjectives doctors and need to rate $35 per 15 minutes to view transcription etc......just doesnt seem to be right

No, it's not right, but it's an overreaction to some serious personal information access abuse in the 1970s and 1980s. Easy subject to research.

Medical store are like pictures. A picture is your photograph, but the picture is the property of the photographer. The medical records are information in the order of you and treatment you received, but the records are the property of the doctor/facility providing the services.

Might be best to enjoy your personal physician request the records for review.
