Mom's an alcoholic...she lied more or less it to the DR? What do I do?

The other day, my mother be talking to me on the phone...the doctor call on the other line. My mom dialogue very loud so you can pretty much hear the conversation. So apparently, the Dr. ask her if she drinks. She lied and said she solely has$ one drink on the weekends. She lied, she drinks about 4 bottles of wine a time! Does anybody know if I can talk to her doctor...Does it violate hippa law?

I asked her about it...and she lied again...She told me she told the Dr. she be talking to me and that she would nickname him back. I hear her...she said no such thing!

I am incredibly concerned...She does have osteoporosis and I don't want it to progress faster because of her drinking.

What do you suggest?

Answers:    Tell her dr. The probability are that he knows she is lying anyways.
The doctor probably know. She is in denial. Talk to her doctor just about an intervention?...hard to do...I know
