Gluten Free Help?
Answers: Many Celiacs avoid the deli counter because of the risk of cross contamination. (I individually avoid it bc its expensive!!) LOL! Some Celiacs just use like deli all the time, they achieve the ingredients list on their meat of choice (many meat are injected with solutions that may contain gluten.), so once they know which one they can devour, they befriend the deli person and after just ask that the gadget be cleaned before they enjoy their meat cut.
Personally I'm lazy and call for to get within and out so I buy Hormel Natural Choice deli meats. Clearly say gluten free on back and basically as yummy!!

Gluten is the protein constituent of wheat, rye, barley, and other related grains
I believe turkey would be fine :)
You need to ask the deli if the turkey is gluten free, as within may be some coating that contains gluten. They should be able to check the inspired packaging for this information, or if they cooked it themselves, they will know if they added anything that might contaminate the meat.
Lots of things SHOULD be gluten free, but it's not nontoxic to assume that they are, in the covering of processed items like deli meat, in need checking.
