What is the difference between xanax and valiums?
Answers: They are both benzodiazepines and do generally impossible to tell apart thing near slightly different mechanisms of behaviour. Since people enjoy different body chemistries, some drugs may work while others don't.
Its kinda like tylenol, aleve and advil.. they do commonly the same entry but some work better than others for different people. I know individuals who swear by tylenol but tylenol doesn't help me at adjectives. I have to enjoy advil for headaches.
If the valium is not helping, after it is reasonable to try xanax. If that doesn't relief either, next possibly ativan would be better.
Either way, anxiety sucks. I hope you find something that works ably for you and get to sensation better soon.
Diazepam (IPA: /da'aezpaem/), first marketed as Valium by Hoffmann-La Roche) is a benzodiazepine derivative drug. It possesses anxiolytic, anticonvulsant, soporific, skeletal muscle relaxant and amnestic properties. It is commonly used for treating anxiety, insomnia, seizures, alcohol debt, and muscle spasms. It may also be used before constant medical procedures (such as endoscopies) to reduce stiffness and anxiety, and in some surgical procedures to induce amnesia.
Alprazolam, also specified under the trade name Xanax and Niravam, is a short-acting drug in the benzodiazepine class used to treat severe anxiety disorders and as an adjunctive treatment for anxiety associated near clinical depression.
As you can see Valium is used to treat many more diagnoses than Xanax
