I started taking Methadone in the order of 6 or 7 wks ago. The research I've see have made it look highly not dangerous...?
When I first started I got swollen foot w/ water blisters. My doc advise I stay on it to see what happened. (lasix also) It's fine in a minute. But I tend to get twitchy and blurry delirium in the evenings and when I'm really tired I hallucinate! It's not startling stuff thank god!! Please HELP! It works WONDERS for the pain and I'm happier mentally more than I've be in a long time! No rude answers please.
Answers: Hi.
Methadone is chemically markedly similar to other opiates, which is why it can be prescribed (and very effective) for strain.
To be honest, your symptoms sound a large amount like hypoglycemia. Are you diabetic by any fate? Are you eating regularly?
However intelligent and all right meaning this community is, it is not replacement for professional proposal. It seems immaculately reasonable for you to be concerned around these effects. Consult your physician asap. And remember - you are entitled to a second opinion if you are surrounded by doubt.
Good luck!
Methadone is a very strong prescription and if you are having hallucination you may be taking too strong a dose. Tell your doctor of the side effects.
