Has anyone else have a really bleak experience donating blood?
~My iron plane was deem "Not quite, but close ample," and I was allowed to donate
~The nurse monitoring me get distracted by The Incredibles and admittedly took too much blood--but, after admitting that the rucksack was already too full, she SQUEEZED the backpack (pushing blood back up into my arm) and she go back to watching the movie for 10 minutes!
~The same nurse yell at me for needing to remain lying down for a few minutes after nearly collapsing after she finally stopped the donation. (I have officially overfilled the shoulder bag.)
~When I finally was competent to get up, I vomited adjectives over the place and they made my roommate clean it up--with napkins they only just threw at her!
And this was the Red Cross!

Answers: What you are reporting is positively disgraceful for a healthcare profession to do and completely unethical. If you remember the first name of the people working within the donor area that light of day, I would call the Red Cross local department and complain about your experience. Ask to speak to the Donor Coordinator or Donor Collection Supervisor. If you still are not satisified near the treatment you receive contact the national chapter for the American Red Cross, or file a complaint against them next to the Food and Drug Administration. I'm sorry for your experience. Giving blood touches the lives of so many individuals who own surgery, have cancer, or are intensely sick every single day. What you did be a very kindly and selfless accomplishment. I hope you can overcome this experience and continue to share the bequest of life contained by the future.
ya long ago when I be skinny as hell. I tried to donate blood at my high academy for extra credit (and to get out of class and chomp through free Arby sandwitches). So I went contained by and I barely passed the initial theory test showing minimal weight to bestow blood. Everyone was giving blood for solitary 15-20 minutes. I was sitting in that for 1 1/2 hours. All the doctors were concern for me lol. I didn't surpass out and I was thrilled with my free arby's sandwitch mmm mmm moral
