You do not own voluntary control over some of your muscles. What are some advantages?
Answers: Involuntary muscle contraction is an advantage because the contraction perchance needed for prolonged periods of time or when it is needed when a specific event occur. Contraction of the diaphram muscles below the lungs occurs drastically frequently about once every two second, therefore if this be voluntary, someone can literally suffocate themself just by not thinking of contracting the muscle. Other muscles surrounded by the gastrointestine are connected to the autonomic peripheral retiring system and are innervated by the parasympathetic system whenever the body recognizes food reaching those areas. Since we enjoy no way to know when our intestines are full (no sensory input from the intestines), we won't know when to bring peristalsis(contraction) in the intestines.
Well, you don't enjoy to put any thought into remembering how to breathe or keep your heart hammering, or gee, I forgot to digest that pizza last dark...
