Answers: I don't think so. I could be wrong but the course I understand it it is an auto-immune problem resembling Lupus is. And it has physical symptoms that can not be explained by depression. However, I do believe that alot of society with the disorder do also suffer from depression which complicates it. Just resembling alot of people near degenerative disorders also have depression. People beside high amounts of misery often become depressed. The depression can supply to this making matters worse. Treat the depression and SOME of the symptoms are alleviated but not cured....

It be recently reconized as a disability/ malady (at least within Calif) One of my oldest friends has it and I know what she go thru.... some people do use bug or disability as a crutch though....
I actually chew over it's a problem with the muscles. when the muscles aren't working properly they can make happen pain adjectives over the body. But I do think that the beginning could be caused by depression.
