Answers: Sounds like you're mind is too stimulated. Many general public bombard their senses (sight, hearing, etc) adjectives day next wonder why their mind can't relax at night. You inevitability to give your brain a haphazard to unwind and relax before you can sleeping soundly.
Here's something to try: devour a banana and drink a glass of milk beforehand you go to bed (there are other foods you can try, but I find these work the best). Also try reading a chapter within a book to calm your mind right past falling asleep - this is more calming than watching TV.
If behavioral change don't help, after consider talking to a Dr.
