What's near my cough?

I've been trying to find over my cold and nasty cough. I notice now that when I cough, mucus or anything keeps on trying to come out but I merely can't seem to spit it out. Is it boogers/mucus? I know it sounds gross but since I can't spit it out, I freshly end up swallowing it. Does it run down to my stomach and get filter out or does it go to my lungs and get tangled up surrounded by there? Also, is at hand any way to not hold all these mucus/boogers wanting to come out whenever I hold a bad cough again? Any information will facilitate.
Thanks in credit!

Answers:    its normal that mucus doesnt come out other when u try to expel it.
and its normal again to swallow it unless u enjoy dreaded disease like tuberculosis.
the mucus u swallow go into ur stomach and not ur lungs. no need to verbs. t will go into stomach, stomach tart will act on it, it will receive digested or else come out beside faeces.
well near are medications to weaken the mucus viscosity known as mucolytics. ask ur doc to prescribe u one.
antihistaminics close to cetrizine will help you to touch better during ur colds and coughs.
there's no way you can cough and not spit up mucus thats also kinda gross!
