How do you do this?
Answers: Two ways:
1.) Restrict calories. Your diet [what you get through each day] is the number exact of weight gain OR shipment loss. EAT HEALTHY! : ) Remember: you are what you eat!
2.) Just because your legs do not work, does not expect you cannot exercise! : ) There are such things as "armchair exercises" -- lifting weights to build up upper body strength, etc.. : )

I have multiple sclerosis (27 yrs) and enjoy been confined to a wheelchair for 17yrs, I be a size 10-12 and am now a size 16, (sorry cant furnish you my weight contained by lbs but haven't been weigh for yrs on scales) so can only be in motion by clothes size.
My question to you is, can i lose mass even though i cannot excercise, i do go to PT every week to hang on to my upper body strength. My husband had a triple heart by-pass op second year so we both need to chomp through a very strong diet. He goes to the gym every time & does a lot of walking so manage to keep his counterweight under control, as he is the cook surrounded by the house and likes his food it is amazingly difficult for him to give me small portions.
Any counsel would be greatly appreciated. We are both aged 63.

The problems that you present are certainly difficult for you, but near is a lot that you can do to assist. The physical therapy, as you own found, is key to keeping yourself hearty.
