What cause Hiccupps, and how do I stop them?
Answers: Hiccups happen when you irritate the phrenic brass neck, the nerve on the diaphragm. When the audacity is irritated, it has spasms that twitch the diaphragm. These are hiccups.
To stop them, I drink 10 sips of dampen without breathing separating each sip. It almost other works for me.
Other methods I've heard of (but hold never worked for me) are to hold your breath for as long as you can, or gulp some water, or chew some gum, or enjoy someone suddenly scare you. This second one is difficult to do because you know the scare is coming, though.
Good luck!
